Biography

Prof. Giovanni Boniolo is a philosopher of science known for his interdisciplinary work in the philosophy of physics, medicine, biomedicine, ethics of research, and clinical practice. During his academic career, he taught "Logic and Philosophy of Science"  and has been a member of international journals and grant committees of many European institutions.

Abstract

From a methodological point of view, do we really know what are we looking for? Is the communication of what we find to peers really important? And to lay people? This talk will try to address these questions and propose perspectives focusing on the scientific community.
